Crawl into My Head

Okay...it has truly become official. I hate Mondays...and with a fierce passion too! I had a hard time sleeping last night..no thanks either to my cat..and finally stayed awake around 6. Turned off the alarm clock so it wouldn't go off and then just laid there...I could not find the motivation to get outta bed at all. As a result, I ended up staying in bed until around 630, didn't get to work until 7 and forgot all about taking Parks out this morning. Oops. At least Matt is home still. And then, of course, it had rained this morning..so everything had to soaked. And since I hadn't shown up on Friday I had a million emails to sort through and figure out what I really want and which I could say screw you to. LOL Oh wait, Carol's computer wouldn't print, so let's sit on the phone for an hour with the helpdesk as they try to figure out why the local printer does not want to show in the listing. Joy. It is only 1pm and I am so ready to go home and just collapse in the bed. At least Jay is being somewhat productive today...he is at the college trying to get his application dropped off in time for enrollment in January. Then it is off to find some housing so he can move closer here. That would be so nice!!This past weekend wasn't too bad...although I spent half of it laying in bed watching TV. I had such a bad migraine headache...ugh, it was so horrible. Jay was feeling somewhat better from his sinus issues so he came and saw me Saturday night...that was nice. I missed seeing him all week. We went down to the rocks and talked for a bit before he wanted to get some pictures. The moon was out with no cloud cover and the waves were pretty heavy. It was really nice. He was a little upset that he couldn't get any black and white pics, but that is okay...they turned out nice anyway. He does some pretty good stuff..I think that he should have been a photographer. :-) But on the way back to the car, I jumped off a rock and managed somehow to bend my toe under and rip the nail off...that was pleasant. So we headed back to the house where I then realized that I had grabbed the wrong keys and Matt was already gone. That sucked. So I climbed up the balcony and went in that way...Jay was a little shocked when I opened the door. It was nice to surprise him for once. :-) I really hope that things work out with me and him...we get along so well and he stayed the night with me and it didn't matter that nothing sexual happened. That felt really good.Okay...I am feeling a little bit better now...at least until the next idiot walks up to my desk and can't figure out something because they don't want to look for the information. Then here we go again!!!

Randomness...the true order of the world.

"A prudent man will think more important what fate has conceded to him, than what it has denied." ~ Baltasar Gracian (1601-1658) Spanish Philosopher

Travel the world in one day, rest your legs beside the sea; hope the people that you meet, will friends forever be. Okay..so that was a little random. But so is life. You never know when all the luck is going your way, or if the rabbit's foot is going to turn bad. I haven't been around the world, except in my reading and movies. I stay outta politics, prefering to be neutral territory. Friends who are in trouble come to see me; when I get into trouble, I stay retreated into secrecy. But I make time for all of it. I believe strongly in being yourself...that is the only way that you will truly be happy. Do what is right for you, you can only live life once. Don't get lost in the depths of my mind....
