Just a thought today....
Maturity is achieved when a person postpones immediate pleasures forlong-term values.

I am always told that someone is not mature enough, and I always talk about it in regards to other people. I get told that as I get older, I will mature more. But I don't think it really has anything to do with a person's age. I have dated men who were older than me and had less maturity. And I am friends with some who are younger and are very mature. It is more of a person's experiences through life that determine how he acts with himself; reacts to the activities of the world around him. That is something we all look for in someone else...the maturity to compliment our own. Maybe it is because we all hope to learn more from everyone we know. Who knows....guess only through time will we truly see.
I think laughter may be a form of courage. As humans we sometimes stand tall and look into the sun and laugh, and I think we are never more brave than when we do that.

I have to agree, I also think maturity has less to do with age, and more to do with life experience.
