Crawl into My Head

  Just another Monday.
Nothing major to report. Not looking forward to tomorrow, but what else is new there.

Not sure if I am going to let things go further with this new little kid I have been talking to lately. Things have been screaming to stop it, even though he is cute and I do care for him a bit. But a lot of what he has been saying in the last couple of weeks doesn’t sit right with me, tears at my patience actually, and I don’t think that he is ready for something yet. I know that I am not fully ready…not until I at least get settled into my new place. I will see.

Have a great Monday…it already feels like shit to me.

"Compassionate action starts with seeing yourself when you start to make yourself right and when you start to make yourself wrong. At that point you could just contemplate the fact that there is a larger alternative to either of those, a more tender, shaky kind of place where you could live." ~Pema Chodron

Are there not... Two points in the adventure of the diver: One -- when a beggar, he prepares to plunge? Two -- when a prince, he rises with his pearl? I plunge! ~Robert Browning

I always believe that it is much ebtter to have a variety of religions, a variety of philosophies, rather than one single religion or philosophy. This is necessary because of the different mental dispositions of each human being. Each religion has certain unique ideas or techniques, and learning about them can only enrich one's own faith. ~The Dalai Lama

"There's a reason you can learn from everything: you have basic wisdom, basic intelligence, and basic goodness." ~Pema Chodron

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it. ~The Dalai Lama

This is a picture of my cousin, Steven. Just thought that I would share.

Just go with the flow with "the kid." No need to get serious too quickly. And if he's a nice ride, enjoy it ;)

Randomness...the true order of the world.

"A prudent man will think more important what fate has conceded to him, than what it has denied." ~ Baltasar Gracian (1601-1658) Spanish Philosopher

Travel the world in one day, rest your legs beside the sea; hope the people that you meet, will friends forever be. Okay..so that was a little random. But so is life. You never know when all the luck is going your way, or if the rabbit's foot is going to turn bad. I haven't been around the world, except in my reading and movies. I stay outta politics, prefering to be neutral territory. Friends who are in trouble come to see me; when I get into trouble, I stay retreated into secrecy. But I make time for all of it. I believe strongly in being yourself...that is the only way that you will truly be happy. Do what is right for you, you can only live life once. Don't get lost in the depths of my mind....
