Hump Day
"Its not the critic that counts, not the man/woman who points out how the strong man/woman stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done them better; the credit belongs to the man/woman in the arena whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly... who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends him/herself in a worthy cause, who at best knows in the end, the triumph of high achievement, and who at worse if he/she fails at least fails while daring greatly. so that his/her place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who never have known neither victory or defeat." - Teddy Roosevelt
Buddhism holds that everything is in constant flux. Thus the question is whether we are to accept change passively and be swept away by it or whether we are to take the lead and create positive changes on our own initiative. While conservatism and self-protection might be likened to winter, night, and death, the spirit of pioneering and attempting to realize ideals evokes images of spring, morning, and birth.
A friend is one who sees through you and still enjoys the view.

Ignorance is the source of hatred, and the way to get rid of ignorance is realization. ~ His Holiness, the Dalai Lama
Only a couple more days and my boy will be down here for the weekend. I can’t wait…that should definitely put me back into a good mood…although I will still have to work on Friday while he is down. Only two more weeks and then I can get these fucking wisdom teeth cut out…bitch session there.
Not writing too much today…I will start picking up and posting more come next week. This week has just been too crazy with work and bullshit from people that I thought were friends. You think you know someone and find out that you really don’t. C’est la vie…I gots more important shit to worry about right now.
Have a great day…I plan on tanning tonight and then straightening up the house. And actually cook dinner tonight. I forgot lunch again.
